Who we are

Zero Transport NE Ltd is a licensed private hire operator based in Newcastle upon Tyne. We are registered with Newcastle City Council and operate under operator licence conditions. Our booking email is bookings@zerotransport-newcastle.co.uk and our contact number is 07791 447423.

What data we collect

When you make a booking through our website we collect:

• Your name, phone number and email address
• Your pickup and drop-off addresses
• Your journey date, time and passenger count
• Your chosen payment method
• Any special requests you choose to provide

Why we collect it

We use your data solely to fulfil your booking — to contact you to confirm your ride, to assign a driver, and to process payment. We do not use your data for marketing unless you have separately opted in.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we never share it for anyone else's marketing. To run the service we rely on a small number of trusted processors, each receiving only what it needs: the driver assigned to your journey gets your booking details; Google Maps Platform works out your route and distance to price the trip (your pickup and drop-off addresses are sent to Google for this) — see policies.google.com/privacy; Stripe processes card payments — stripe.com/gb/privacy; Resend sends your confirmation emails — resend.com; and ImprovMX forwards any replies to those emails into our inbox — improvmx.com.

How long we keep it

We retain booking records for 24 months for operational and accounting purposes, after which they are securely deleted. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing bookings@zerotransport-newcastle.co.uk.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to restrict or object to processing, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights contact us at bookings@zerotransport-newcastle.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days.

How we measure our website

We record anonymous, aggregated information about how our own booking flow performs — for example, which steps people reach before booking — so we can keep improving the service. This measurement uses no cookies, contains no personal details (no names, emails, phone numbers or specific addresses), and is never used for advertising or sold on. This analysis is provided to us by our technology partner, Meeri Systems Ltd, acting solely on our instructions.

About us

Zero Transport NE Ltd is a licensed private hire operator in Newcastle upon Tyne, operating under a licence issued by Newcastle City Council. These terms govern all bookings made through zerotransport-newcastle.co.uk.

Bookings

A booking is confirmed once you receive a booking reference by email. We reserve the right to decline a booking if no vehicle is available for your requested date and time.

Pricing

All prices are fixed and quoted inclusive of all charges. There are no surge prices, no hidden fees and no extras on arrival. The price shown at the time of booking is the price you pay. A non-refundable base charge of £5 applies to all bookings.

Payment

We accept bank transfer and card payment. Bank transfer payments must be received within 24 hours of booking confirmation to secure the ride. If payment is not received within this period your booking may be cancelled. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Cancellations

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your pickup time will receive a full refund minus the £5 non-refundable base charge. Cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup are non-refundable. No-shows are non-refundable.

Flight monitoring

For airport pickups we monitor your flight and adjust driver arrival time accordingly at no extra charge. Please provide your correct flight number at the time of booking.

Passenger conduct

Passengers are expected to behave respectfully towards drivers and the vehicle. We reserve the right to refuse travel or terminate a journey if a passenger's behaviour is abusive, dangerous or puts others at risk. No refund will be given in these circumstances.

Liability

Zero Transport NE Ltd holds full public liability and hire and reward insurance as required by our operator licence. Our liability is limited to the value of the booking in question. We are not liable for missed flights, missed connections or any consequential loss arising from delays beyond our control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Our approach to cookies

Zero Transport NE Ltd does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or any third-party analytics cookies on this website. We do not build advertising profiles, track you across other websites or sell your browsing data.

Essential functionality

Our website uses browser session memory (not cookies) to hold your booking details while you complete a booking. This information is not stored after you close your browser tab and is never transmitted to any third party.
